Our Story and History

Phoenix Bible Church was established in 2014 with a clear vision to share the gospel, build a loving community, and serve our neighbors. We gather every Sunday at our location, 6060 N 7th Avenue, in the heart of Phoenix, AZ. Over the years, our church has grown into a vibrant and welcoming place for people from all walks of life to come together to worship, learn, and grow spiritually. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ, sharing His love with the city of Phoenix, and impacting the world for His Kingdom.

Meet Our Lead Pastor, Tim Birdwell

The heart and vision of Phoenix Bible Church come from our lead pastor, Tim Birdwell. Pastor Tim has a passion for teaching God’s Word and seeing lives transformed through the gospel. Before founding Phoenix Bible Church in 2014, he served at Mars Hill Church and North Village Church in Austin, TX. Pastor Tim holds a Master of Arts in Bible Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, and he brings years of experience and deep biblical knowledge to his role as lead pastor. His heart for ministry and dedication to the church’s mission have been instrumental in guiding Phoenix Bible Church’s growth.

At Phoenix Bible Church, our foundation is built on the timeless truths of the Bible. We believe in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and we aim to teach His Word with clarity and truth. Our messages are centered on applying biblical principles to everyday life and helping each person grow in their faith. Whether you are new to church or have been following Christ for years, you will find that our teaching is both relevant and rooted in the truth of Scripture.

Our Life Groups meet throughout the week in various locations, giving you the opportunity to build relationships, study the Bible together, and support one another in prayer and fellowship. We also encourage you to serve through our many church ministries, whether it’s helping with children’s programs, volunteering with outreach efforts, or serving on the worship team. Being part of our church community is a great way to grow spiritually while making a positive impact on others.
