Gifted was born in 2018 when Esther envisioned creating a space in Fort Worth that celebrated the beauty of well-crafted goods and supported small artists and brands. She wanted to establish a retail haven that not only offered high-quality products but also ignited the senses of anyone who visited. From the very beginning, her focus was on quality over quantity, curating a collection of goods that truly spoke to the community.

With the unwavering support of her loyal customers, Esther turned her dream into reality. Gifted became a sanctuary for unique items and a place where relationships could flourish. Through meaningful connections, Esther transformed many of her customers into friends, fostering a sense of community around the store. It quickly became a go-to destination for those who appreciated thoughtfully selected goods and the spirit of supporting small businesses.

Meeting Jazmin and Jeanette

Along the way, Esther met twin sisters Jazmin and Jeanette, whose skills, dedication, and passion for small business aligned perfectly with the store’s mission. The sisters played a pivotal role in helping Gifted thrive, particularly during the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic. Together, they navigated the changing retail landscape and continued to nurture the vision of the store, all while maintaining the close-knit, supportive community Gifted had built.

A New Chapter in 2023

In 2023, Gifted reached an exciting new milestone. Esther, Jazmin, and Jeanette united as partners, expanding their vision for the store’s future. They relocated to the brand-new PS1200 property on Magnolia Ave in Fort Worth’s Near Southside, marking a significant turning point in their journey. This new location brought a fresh energy to Gifted and allowed them to further grow their community, both locally and online.

Overcoming Challenges and Staying True to Core Values

Despite the many challenges of adapting to a rapidly changing retail landscape, including the difficulties of relocating and the challenges faced by brick-and-mortar stores in a digital age, Gifted has remained committed to its founding principles.
