A Legacy of Entertainment Since 1998

Cowboys Dancehall first opened its doors on March 31, 1998, as Far West Rodeo, with country music legend Tracy Lawrence providing the inaugural entertainment for the night. The venue quickly became a staple in San Antonio’s entertainment scene. Over time, Far West Rodeo merged with Cowboys Dancehall to form the iconic entertainment complex that stands today. Combining the best of country music, bull riding, and exciting live performances, Cowboys Dancehall is one of Texas’ most celebrated and cherished entertainment venues.

Mat S. serves as the manager of Cowboys Dancehall and is also the lead singer for The Sunset Riders, a talented country music band that frequently performs at the venue.
