We do this through a variety of ways—coming together in worship, building supportive relationships in our Grow Groups, and serving both the needs of our church and the broader community. History of Concord Church

Concord Church was established in 1975, with humble beginnings at the Carr P. Collins Chapel on the campus of Bishop College. The name “Concord” is rooted in the ideals of harmony, peace, and unity—values that have shaped our mission throughout the years.

Our founding pastor, the late Dr. E.K. Bailey, had a bold vision for the church, one that would transform the lives of individuals and have a lasting, positive impact on the surrounding community. He dreamed of a church where people could experience true growth, and this vision continues to guide the church today.

Since its inception, Concord Church has expanded its outreach, and its influence continues to grow both within the city of Dallas and beyond. Over the years, we have become a place where people from all walks of life come to experience God’s love and grace, while also serving others.

Pastor Bryan C. Carter – A Visionary Leader

Pastor Bryan C. Carter is the Senior Pastor of Concord Church and has led the church for over fifteen years. Under his leadership, Concord has flourished, now serving more than 9,000 members. Pastor Carter’s mission for the church is to connect people to their next step with Christ, and this mission is lived out through the ministry’s focus on discipleship, service, and community involvement.

Known for his passion, strategic thinking, and visionary leadership, Pastor Carter has inspired many to grow in their faith and reach their full potential in Christ. His leadership style is compassionate and innovative, and he is deeply committed to seeing lives transformed. His vision extends beyond the church walls, aiming to make a significant impact in the community and the world.
