Description
Church for the Nations
Our community is marked by passionate worship, engaging and relevant teaching from God’s Word, and a strong focus on helping those who are in need—reaching out to the least, the last, and the lost. Every person who joins us on this journey is valued, and we strive to make them feel welcome, accepted, and loved as part of our spiritual family.
Our DNA: Passionate Worship and Relevant Teaching
Church for the Nations stands out for its vibrant worship culture. Each Sunday, our church gathers to lift up the name of Jesus through heartfelt praise and worship. Our services are a place of joy, where we give glory to God and create an atmosphere where His presence is evident.
Our teaching is rooted in the timeless truths of God’s Word, delivered in a way that is practical and relevant to today’s world. We believe that understanding Scripture and applying it in our daily lives is crucial for spiritual growth. We emphasize grace, love, and discipleship, equipping believers to grow in their relationship with God and fulfill His purpose for their lives.
You Are Welcome Here: A Place of Belonging
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, Church for the Nations welcomes you. We believe that everyone, no matter their background or past, is invited to experience God’s love and grace. We understand that life is full of challenges, and we want our church to be a place of refuge, healing, and transformation.
At CFTN, we do not see the church as just a building or a gathering, but as a body of believers—the Church—coming together to support, uplift, and encourage one another in our pursuit of God. We invite you to join us in our mission to grow deeper in Christ and to make a meaningful impact in our communities and the world.
Our Vision: Spreading God’s Perfect Love
Church for the Nations is one unified, multicultural, and multigenerational family of believers who are awakened by the love of God. Our vision is to spread God’s perfect love throughout our city, nation, and the world. We desire to be agents of transformation, impacting the culture around us by living out the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Our History: From Vision to Reality
Church for the Nations was founded on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2003, with a service attended by 250 people. Lead Pastors Michael and Mary Maiden shared the vision of a new church that would impact Phoenix and the nations of the world. Their mission was to build a community that would reach out to others, train disciples, and send them into the world to make a difference for Christ.
The Future: The Best is Yet to Come
Looking back, we can see how God has faithfully provided for and blessed CFTN. We are constantly in awe of what He has accomplished through His church. And as we look ahead, we are filled with anticipation for what God has in store for the future. The best is truly yet to come!
At Church for the Nations, we believe that God is just getting started. Our hearts are full of excitement as we continue to reach people, train disciples, and send them out to change the world. Together, we are on a mission to bring glory to God, spread His love, and make a lasting impact on the world around us.
