AL DÍA was founded in 1994 by entrepreneurial journalists as a home-based, once-a-month operation. Over the past 25 years, it has grown into a multimedia, multilingual, and multicultural news organization, still owned and operated by journalists. From its humble beginnings, AL DÍA has evolved to become a leading voice for documenting the contributions and experiences of Americans of Latino descent.
