Texas de Brazil’s journey began in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where one of our founding partners, inspired by the traditional gaucho way of dining, envisioned bringing the art of churrasco to the United States. The gauchos, local cowboys, would slow-roast meats over open flames, creating a feast where the flavors were as rich as the culture. The dream was simple yet powerful: to introduce this unforgettable experience to a broader audience. And where better to bring this vision to life than in Texas, the heart of cattle country? Combining the vibrant and festive churrasco culture with the unmatched service and hospitality of Texas, we opened our first restaurant with the aim of offering a truly unique and immersive dining experience. Today, Texas de Brazil has grown, both domestically and internationally, continuing to share this passion for food, family, and tradition with guests around the world.

The tradition of churrasco is deeply rooted in Brazilian culture. Our chefs continue to honor the legacy of the gauchos, who were experts at grilling meats over an open flame. This style of slow-roasting, which keeps the meats juicy and flavorful, is one of the core elements that makes our dining experience so exceptional. The meats are expertly prepared, skewered, and carved at your table in an interactive and festive presentation. Our chefs bring this tradition to life with skill, precision, and dedication, ensuring every guest has an unforgettable meal.

Dining Done Differently

At Texas de Brazil, we believe dining should be an experience that’s memorable, exciting, and full of variety. Our dining concept, known as rodizio, is designed to allow guests to sample an endless parade of sizzling meats, including beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage, all carved right at their table by our expert gaucho chefs. Our guests also enjoy a variety of delicious sides, such as our house-baked cheese bread, garlic mashed potatoes, fried bananas, and roasted vegetables. To start your meal, we offer a gourmet salad area filled with fresh seasonal greens, imported cheeses, and an array of charcuterie.

When you’re ready to enjoy the full experience, simply turn your card to green, and the carvers will begin bringing you meat after meat, ensuring you get all your favorites. Need a break? Just turn your card to red and pause until you’re ready for more. Whether you’re a meat lover or prefer the wide array of accompaniments, there’s something for everyone.
