Rock Church stands firm on biblical teachings, believing in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our faith is rooted in the word of God, and we believe in the importance of growing together as a community of believers. History: Rooted in Service and Action

Rock Church was officially founded in 2000 at San Diego State University. Since then, we have been dedicated to being a church that doesn’t just talk about faith but lives it out by taking action. Over the years, Rock Church has expanded significantly, now serving five campuses across San Diego, including a location in Oahu, Hawaii. Additionally, we offer online streaming and “Church Anywhere” sites, which allow us to foster discipleship and community across the globe.

We are not content with passive involvement in the world around us; instead, we seek to live out our faith in practical, impactful ways. Rock Church believes that the hope the world is desperately seeking is found in the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.

Our church is outward-facing and service-oriented, striving to share the love and hope of Jesus on every street, in every home, and across every nation. We believe that true change happens when we step out in faith and put love into action. Whether through local outreach, mission trips, or online connections, we are united in our commitment to share the hope of Jesus with a hurting world.

Impacting the Community: Serving with Compassion and Purpose

At Rock Church, service is not just something we do – it’s a way of life. We actively engage in our community through various programs designed to meet practical needs and share the love of Christ. For example, our church runs a K-12 academy, providing high-quality education grounded in biblical principles. Additionally, we hold monthly food and diaper distributions to support families in need, as well as community events like Toys for Joy, where we serve thousands of families by providing gifts and resources during the Christmas season.
