Founded in 2013, Rare Bloom was created with the mission to provide thoughtfully crafted home goods, clothing, plants, and accessories that are inspired by the relaxed yet stylish vibe of coastal living. Sarah S. is the proud owner of Rare Bloom and a lifelong Point Loma/OB resident. Growing up in this beautiful area, Sarah learned the value of hard work and community firsthand. Her mother, Karen, was a local business owner who ran multiple successful businesses in the Point Loma area since 1999. From an early age, Sarah was immersed in the world of entrepreneurship and learned the ropes of running a business with the guidance and support of her mother.

Before opening Rare Bloom, Sarah worked in the floral industry, where she honed her expertise in plants and developed a deep appreciation for the natural world. This passion for greenery and design flows through the essence of Rare Bloom, where plants play a central role in creating the welcoming and eclectic atmosphere.
