Meet Mike Delaurier: The Heart of Maple Leaf Diner

Mike Delaurier is the visionary behind Maple Leaf Diner. A third-generation restaurateur, Mike was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where he honed his culinary skills in the kitchens of his prominent Southern Ontario food family. Having spent years perfecting his craft, Mike decided to bring the flavors of his homeland to Dallas after noticing a lack of authentic Canadian cuisine in his wife’s hometown. Since opening the diner in 2015, Mike has made it his mission to share the comforting and unique dishes of Canada with the Dallas community.
