Healthy Pet was founded by Trevor MacKellar and Chris Jabbori in June of 2012 in Austin, Texas, at the Shops at Arbor Trails. Trevor’s passion for pets started at the age of 16, working at Premier Pet Supply in Beverly Hills, Michigan. His journey through customer service and pet knowledge led him to eventually become a store manager. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Trevor always aspired to run his own business. His entrepreneurial spirit found a perfect match when he met Chris, a fellow lifelong entrepreneur. Together, they saw an opportunity in the pet industry, even during an economic downturn, realizing it was more successful than ever. With Trevor’s deep-rooted love for pets and Chris’s business acumen, Healthy Pet quickly grew into a partnership built on quality and integrity.

As a company, we believe in giving back to the community that has supported us. On average, Healthy Pet donates over 500 lbs of dry dog and cat food to local shelters each month. We also support various pet-related charities through monetary and in-kind donations. Healthy Pet has always considered itself a community hub for pet owners.
