Christ Church Los Angeles is a vibrant Bible-based Christian church located in the heart of Atwater Village, nestled between Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Glendale. Our church community is dedicated to fostering a space where individuals from all walks of life can come together, find spiritual renewal, and experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

As a congregation, we are passionate about building relationships, serving our neighbors, and spreading the message of hope and redemption that Jesus offers to all. Our mission is simple: to be a church that offers love, healing, and grace to anyone who walks through our doors, regardless of their past or present.

The Journey: From Missio Dei LA to Christ Church

Christ Church Los Angeles had its humble beginnings in 2016 as Missio Dei LA, planted in the Silver Lake area. We are incredibly grateful for the foundation that was laid in those early years, as well as for the people who helped make that journey possible. The community of Missio Dei was built on the belief that the love of Jesus Christ could transform lives and bring positive change to the city. In January 2021, we officially transitioned to become Christ Church Los Angeles, continuing the work of the Lord and building on the foundation of faith that has been so meaningful to many.
