Our Roots – Inspired by Heritage, Built for the Modern Explorer

Topo Designs was born out of a desire to create outdoor gear that was as tough and reliable as the classic products our founders grew up using. In 2008, co-founder Jedd Rose started sewing backpacks in his Fort Collins, Colorado basement, driven by a vision of making durable, functional, and timeless outdoor gear. Meanwhile, co-founder Mark Hansen sought out local resources and Colorado craftsmen who could help bring this vision to life.
