About Mission Point Christian Church

Mission Point Christian Church is deeply rooted in the Word of God, with a strong foundation in biblical teachings. Our belief is that God’s Word provides the guidance for life, salvation, and our purpose in this world. We are a community committed to living out our faith in Christ, sharing His love, and strengthening our bond with God and each other.

Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit

At Mission Point Christian Church, we honor and worship the triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in one God who is the Creator of all things, the sustainer of life, and the giver of eternal salvation. We submit our lives to God’s guidance and grace, acknowledging His presence in our lives through each person of the Trinity.

The Gospel: The Work of God

The Gospel is the core of the Christian faith. It is through the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ that we are redeemed and offered the gift of eternal life. This is the good news that we proclaim: Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God, paid the price for our sins and rose again to give us victory over death. The events of Jesus’ atoning work serve as the foundation of our faith and a powerful testament to God’s love and grace for humanity.

As disciples, we follow the example of Jesus, and we share in the work of God by spreading the message of salvation to those around us. We are called to live out the Gospel, reflecting Christ’s love and grace in our lives.

The Individual: Surrender of God’s Children

As followers of Jesus, we surrender our lives to His Lordship, accepting the call to be holy and follow His example. Each of us is adopted as God’s child through faith in Christ, and we are called to live a life of obedience, holiness, and service. We rejoice in the grace of God and strive to grow in our relationship with Him daily.

We are committed to surrendering our will to God’s, trusting in His plan for our lives, and serving Him with our whole hearts.

Community: Fellowship & Strengthening

The church is not just a place to gather but a community of believers who are bound together through the waters of baptism. Our unity in Christ is what strengthens us as a body. As we grow in faith, we support each other, encourage one another, and build each other up as we seek to follow God’s will for our lives. We believe in the power of fellowship—sharing life together, praying for one another, and living out the Christian faith in unity.

Being part of the church body also involves a commitment to growing as disciples, both spiritually and numerically. As we grow in Christ, we become more faithful and effective in our mission to glorify God and serve the world around us.
