Meet the Owner – Zack G.

The Urban Pet was created by Zack Grey, a passionate pet lover and business owner. After a successful 14-year career as a professional dancer, Zack transitioned into the world of animal training, working as a personal assistant to the famous Hollywood dog trainer, Shelby Marlo. During this time, he honed his skills in dog behavior and training, which inspired him to launch his own dog training company, UrbanTails, in 2004. His approach to training quickly became known for its innovative methods and compassionate philosophy.

The Evolution of The Urban Pet

When the pet store that hosted his group obedience classes closed down, Zack saw an opportunity to create something of his own. This led to the opening of The Urban Pet in 2007, a 5,000-square-foot store that combines functionality with a calming, zen-like atmosphere. The store is filled with top-tier pet products, including the finest pet foods, accessories, and grooming supplies. Over the years, The Urban Pet has grown into a one-stop shop for everything pet-related, catering to pet owners who want the best for their animals.
